I started Foundation Finance & Tax with a simple goal: to replace the "assembly line" approach of traditional firms with modern efficiency and genuine care.

I’ve been in the industry for years, and in that time, I saw too many tax professionals auto-filling forms without understanding the human story behind the numbers. I knew there was a better way.

Today, I run a fully digital firm based in Irvine, utilizing modern tools like TaxDome and QuickBooks Online to serve clients remotely—whether they are down the street in Orange County or studying abroad.

My expertise isn't just academic—it's personal. I was born in China and came to the U.S. as an international student. I have personally navigated the confusing journey of visa statuses and tax residencies.

  • 🏕️ Camping (Connected): I love taking the family to the mountains. (And yes, I bring my Starlink so I’m always reachable if a client has an emergency!)
  • 🚗 Dad Duties: Like every other parent in SoCal, I spend plenty of time shuttling my kids to their sports and music lessons.
